This recipe includes quite literally anything from your pantry or fridge. I made it purely from whatever I had and this was the end product.

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BASE
- 3 apples, peeled and cubed
- 125g fresh or frozen berries
- 10 pitted dates, chopped
- 3tsp cinnamon
- Maple syrup, I use the zero calorie syrup from Woolworths
- 1tsp vanilla essence
FOR THE CRUMBLE
- 1 cup of quinoa flakes
- 1/2 cup of coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1tbs nutalex or butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
METHOD
- Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
- Start by stewing the fruit first. Grab a saucepan with a tablespoon of water and start with the apples and dates first and then add the rest of the ingredients, blueberries last
- Once the fruit is done add into a small oven proof dish and then make the crumble
- In a glass mixing bowl add the crumble ingredients and then last, is the butter
- Get your hands dirty and mixing and rubbing the butter or nutalex in with fingers
- Place the crumble on top of the fruit and place in the oven for 30mins, keep checking on it
