Need more greens in your daily diet? Have you heard of low caloric foods per bite? Let me fill you in.
When your are eating less than usual to lose weight or more specific fat it is a good idea to look at low calories, naturally? But to help you last your period of eating less we need to look at low caloric food, per bite. In other words foods that you could pretty much eat all day and not gain weight.
What do you eat for snacks? It will usually be something sweet or sugary, correct? Maybe something salty and high in calories. Either way these are the habits we need to start changing and replacing these HIGH caloric food for LOWER caloric food. How do we do that? GREEN VEGETABLES!! Or cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, celery the list is endless. It also another excellent way to detox the body. Having lemon or lime in your water in the morning before you eat will also help curve sugar cravings and kick start your metabolism for the day. Anything green will help with detoxification of the liver, so no matter how much of these foods you eat you can not gain weight!!
A great Cucumber, capsicum and snow peas as a snack or when you are feeling hungry these three things are so low in calories that if you are tracking your food/macros you do not need to worry about adding them to your food diary!! Maybe using a hummus dip for a bit more volume in your snacks either way you can not gain weight from eating too many vegetables. Its all about swapping the “CRAP” – Caffeine, refined sugars, alcohol + additives and preservatives for something more whole foods based and natural. Your body needs wholesome foods to run efficiently and effectively, don’t feed it CRAP and have huge expectations of your body that is unfair and unrealistic. Once you start putting good in you will start getting good back. Law of attraction right!
