Apple Cider Tonic
INGREDIENTS
- 150ml Boiling water
- 3tbs apple cider vinegar with “mother” (the mother is the important part of the vinegar that is called “the colony” which contains the probiotic)
- A sprinkle of cinnamon
- A wedge of lemon
This drink is great for the beginning of a cold to help reduce symptoms and the severity of the cold.
Apple cider gargle
INGREDIENTS
- Warm water
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1tsp manuka honey
* The honey acts as an anti bacterial agent in the throat.
Ginger Tea
INGREDIENTS
- 1cup boiling water
- 1 inch of fresh ginger root
- 1tbs lemon juice
- 1 tbs raw honey
*Add the water and ginger root and let it steep for 3mins and than add the rest of the ingredients.
